Slack Water and the Flood
An instrumental concept album that follows the reef through one full turn of the tide, from moonlit slack water down to the lowest ebb and up through the joyful flood to high water, then the turn again. Where the first record rose to the surface at noon, this one stays inside the reef and lets time transform it: the same coral world breathing with the moon and the current. Wordless open-vowel voices are pushed to the front as the true lead, the ear pressed close among the polyps, and joy runs on the surface throughout, carried forward by a steady tidal pulse.
