The journey
Spore Light
An instrumental concept album that follows one day of light moving through a fictional sunlit fungi forest, from grey pre-dawn up through the full green blaze of noon and back down to a glowing dusk. Glacial post-rock chamber music with felt piano at the root, a cello-bowed guitar singing like a reed organ, and wordless open-vowel voices carried as the lead. The whole record is one long tectonic breath: stillness climbing to radiance at High Noon, then breathing out to a quiet, warmer answer of the opening at dusk.
