The journey

The Coral Cartographers

An instrumental concept album that swims a single day up through a coral reef, from the dim blue dawn on the sea floor toward blazing noon at the surface. Each track is a life-form or a moment of interdependence (the reef-building coral, the cleaner and its client, the clownfish and the anemone, the curious octopus, the great synchronised spawning), told entirely through wordless open-vowel syllables and iridescent, teeming arrangement. The arc rises steadily toward the light: curious, uplifting, entrancing.

Track 01

Blue Hour on the Floor

The opener: dawn on the dim sea floor, the reef still waking. Establishes the palette and the rising-light arc.
